My name is Andrés J. Peralta, and I’ve been blessed to serve in youth ministry for over 20 years as a Pastor, Youth Director, Chaplain, and Former World Pathfinder Leader of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. God has allowed me to connect with young people in more than 100 countries, helping them grow in mission, leadership, and their walk with Christ.
I've helped lead events like Camporees, Youth Rallies, Congresses, and Mission Trips—creating spaces where young people encounter Jesus and discover their purpose. With a Doctorate in Leadership, Teamwork and Urban Youth Ministry, I strive to serve diverse communities with vision and compassion.
I also serve as a Reserve Navy Chaplain, offering care and support to military personnel, and am a grateful husband and father of two daughters. My passion is to mentor young leaders who live boldly for Christ and serve with love and humility.
True leadership isn’t about titles or rank,
it’s about taking responsibility, inspiring others, and lifting people up when it matters most. In the end, Jesus is what matters the most.
WHAT I BELIEVE
To me, church isn’t just a building with the Adventist logo on it, it’s so much more than that.
It’s about real relationships, between us and God, and with each other. As a Seventh-day Adventist,
I believe in all 28 of our fundamental beliefs, not as a checklist, but as a way of life that brings purpose, freedom, and hope. It’s about following Jesus every single day, not just going to church once a week. Church is about community, worship, growth, and love in action. It’s where we walk together, serve together, and stay ready for Jesus to come back, because that’s the hope we live for.
ABOUT GOD
I believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—a loving, eternal, and all-powerful Creator. God made the universe, sustains all life, and is actively working to save us. Jesus Christ, God's Son, came to this world, lived a perfect life, died for our sins, rose again, and will return soon. The Holy Spirit draws us to Jesus, transforms our lives, and empowers us to live for Him. God is love, and everything He does is to restore our relationship with Him.
ABOUT HUMANITY
I believe that humanity was created in the image of God, designed for a close relationship with Him. But because of sin, that connection was broken, and we all face suffering, weakness, and death. Still, God never gave up on us. Through Jesus, we are offered forgiveness, healing, and a new life. Even though we are broken, every person is valuable, loved by God, and called to reflect His character. With His help, we can grow, serve others, and become more like Him each day.
ABOUT SALVATION
I believe salvation is a gift from God, made possible through Jesus Christ. Because of our sins, we are separated from God, but Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross for us, and rose again to defeat sin and death. When I accept Him by faith, His grace forgives my sins and transforms my heart. Salvation isn’t just a one-time event—it’s a daily journey of trusting Jesus, growing in His love, and living a life that reflects His character. It’s by God’s grace alone, through faith, that I am saved and have the hope of eternal life.
ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT & THE CHURCH
I believe the Holy Spirit is God’s presence living in me and in every believer. The Spirit guides, comforts, and empowers me to live a Christ-centered life. Through the Holy Spirit, I experience transformation, conviction of sin, and strength to follow God’s will. The Spirit also gives spiritual gifts to help build up the church and share God’s love with others.
I believe the church is not just a building, but a community of believers united by faith in Jesus. It’s a family where we support, encourage, and grow together. The church’s mission is to share the gospel, serve others, and prepare for Jesus’ soon return. As part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, I’m committed to living out our beliefs and making a difference in the world through love and service.
ABOUT THE BIBLE
I believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word, written by people guided by the Holy Spirit. It’s the ultimate authority for my faith and life, revealing God’s character, His plan of salvation, and how I can live in a way that pleases Him. The Bible is alive and relevant, speaking to me today and guiding me through every challenge.
